Janice (Jan) Sapp Durrence
March 17, 1956 – May 20, 2021

Jan Durrence, 65, passed away May 20, 2021, in her home in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

She worked as a Medical Biller at Kids First Pediatrics in Pooler, Georgia. She loved taking care of her two dogs, Milo and Chester, watching movies, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren, especially with “her Kieran.”

Ms. Durrence was preceded in death by her parents, Clyo Sapp, Jr. and Doris Todd Sapp and her brother, Wayne Sapp.

Ms. Durrence is survived by her partner, Lee Cox; a son, Lee (Karen) Sikes of Alston; two daughters, Jessica Durrence of Richmond Hill and Caitlin (Kasey) Solo of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Lois Anderson of Collins and Shirley Barber of Spartanburg, South Carolina; seven grandchildren: Erin Sikes-Wyatt, Van Sikes, Chloe Jordan, Hunter Oswald, Connor Ruger, Kieran Springer, and Harper Solo; three great-grandchildren: Hunter Joiner, Tynnlee Wyatt, and Jocey Wyatt.

The family will be having a private funeral.

To Jan’s Family and Children, My 🙏🏻Prayers are going up and out for you All! Lois and Shirley I am so very sorry for your Loss and will have you all in my Prayers.
Jan was one of my Dearest and Most loved Friends and we had lots of Great Times & Memories we shared! She was a good mother and a Great Friend and I wish we had not lost touch over the last 10-15 years.
To her children…You were Blessed with a Wonderful Mother🙏🏻✝️❤️
I treasure our times together and they were Great!😘❤️✝️🙏🏻❤️

I am so sorry to know this. I am a R.N. and worked with Jan and we were friends outside of the hospital. She was a wonderful, sweet person and we loved each other very much. Thank you for letting me know and wish I could be there.
