Janet Rogers Price, 91, passed away January 29, 2018 at The Place at Pooler.
Born January 21, 1927 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late John Alexander Rogers and Annie Moody Rogers. She was a member of Garden City Primitive Church, Garden City, Georgia. Janet had retired from Union Camp after 32 years.
Preceded in death by her husband Cecil Price, son Donald Price, sister Nesbit Christian and brother Ray Rogers, she is survived by her three daughters Marie (Elder Ronny) Webb, Cecile (Elder Jimmy) Thornburg and Annette Price. Eight grandchildren, John Price of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Alex Nease, Chris (Amanda) Nease of Rincon, Georgia, Wesley Cartee, Matthew (Samantha) Thornburg of Guyton, Georgia, Jessica, Jeremy and Timothy Thornburg all of Bloomingdale, Georgia; seven great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a Graveside service Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Swainsboro, Georgia.
