
Janice Marie Wilson affectionally known as “JW”, 72, of Savannah, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2021.
She was born on August 30, 1949 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Janice worked various jobs throughout her life, even joined a Carnival in her early years. JW loved to collect teapots and listening to gospel music.
She is survived by her Daughter, Teara N. English of Fayetteville, Georgia; her Brother, Calvin Blyther of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; her Sister, Sherlly A. Blyther of Savannah, Georgia; her Niece and Caregiver, Tamara M. Bennett-Thompson of Savannah; Georgia, her Nephews and Their Spouses, Reginald Howell of Vancouver, Washington and Travis D. Sanders of Pooler, Georgia; her Grandchildren, Ambria Blyther and Angelo English; and several Great Nephews and a Great Niece. She is preceded in death by her Father, Louis Blyther, Sr., her Mother, Jessie Mae (Wilson) Blyther; and Brothers, Jerry Wilson and Louis Blyther, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Ogeechee River Landing (across from Love’s Restaurant) on Highway 17, Savannah, Georgia.
Sincere thanks to the Staff at Georgia Hospice Care, Davita Dialysis, all her wonderful Nurses, Sitters, and Friends (especially Deacon and Mother Wooten) that made her last year of life full of care and love.
