Jemima Anne Cowart, age 76, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 at her residence.

 
A native of Collins, Georgia, she was the daughter of Grice Lynn and Rosa Lee Warren Lynn.
 
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Cooper  Cowart, Jr., a daughter, Tammy Denice Cowart, brother, Alan Lynn (Mary Ann) and sister, Bobbie Murphy (Joe), she is survived by one brother, Calvin Lynn (Sally-deceased) and two sisters, Merita Lewis (Eugene-deceased) and Nancy Sikes (Johnny); her son, Jeffery Cowart (Lisa); two grandchildren, Jonathan Cowart (Natalie) and Jessica Cowart; one great-grandchild, Nia Leigh Cowart.
 
Graveside services will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
 
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
