Jimmie Collins, called “Buddy Roll” by family and friends, was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Earlie Mae and Henry Lee Green on November 10, 1956. He passed away at the age of 63 on August 31, 2020, of natural causes. His parents raised three children, the oldest child being Jimmie Collins. The other siblings are Anthony L ( Elizabeth E) Green, Kimberly Diane ( James L) Brown, and Adopted brother Arnold Hart.
Jimmie was educated in the Chatham County School System. He was known as a hard worker. Jimmie spent years working various jobs but found his dream job working in the Culinary Arts Industry as a Cook at Savannah Trade and Conventional Center.
Jimmie’s pastime enjoyments included listening to music, sitting in the yard having fun with family and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving sons and daughters; Juanita Renee Walker, Demetrius Seabrain, April Collins, Andrew Collins, and Corey Collins. Grandchildren; Alfonzia Walker Jr, Alonzo Walker, Asia Walker, and Demeria Seabrain.
Jimmie’s memories will be cherished by his daughters, sons, grandchildren, special friend Gloria Mulero and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Bynes-Royall Funeral Home 204 W Hall St, Savannah, GA 31401
