Joan Blanche Hiers Brinas, age 87, died on Saturday, August 18th, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
She was born in Savannah, Ga. She lived in Chicago, raising seven children and was married to the late Joseph Al Brinas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Launey E. Hiers and Blanche Fountain Hiers, and a sister Joyce Westall.
She is survived by her children, Eldest (late) Joseph Brinas, Alex and John Brinas, Mary Lankford, Joni Foskey, Joyci Coulter and Julie Brinas, three brothers, Launey, Ronald and Charles Hiers and a sister, Julia Mendoza.
She enjoyed her life serving God and raising her children, other than being a full time loving homemaker, she worked for the Suburban Delta Photography Studio in Savannah and was a caregiver of the elderly.
A memorial service will be held, Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11 am at the Kingdom hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 630 E. Henry Street, Savannah, GA.

We are saddened to see Sister Brinas death. She was a faithful witness for Jehovahs kingdom. Julie can you remember her getting lost on the way to assemblies?
