Condolences for the family of “Joseph Herman Hohnerlein, Jr.”

Condolence from Christopher Jon Sather on September 14th, 2020 8:31 pm

Mrs. Hohnerlein….
I worked with Joe at Union Camp/I.P. in the maintenance dept. until his retirement. Joe was one of the millwrights in the Paper Mill Millwright Shop
when I started as a greenhorn helper 43 years ago. He was a real cut-up
and a day working with Joe was an adventure. Aside from being full of life he was a very good mechanic and I got to learn from him as his helper.
He had alot of knowledge and understanding on how things worked in the papermill and I tried to learn as much as I could from him. Joe had a very good work ethic. He was a Local 23 union brother as well and believed in our union and what it stood for. Joe was a good man and he will definitely be missed by all of us.
My prayer for the entire Hohnerlein family is that our Heavenly Father will lift you up and give you peace and comfort in your hearts and minds.
God bless you all.

I am so sorry to hear this. I have not seen Joe in several years but we were friends in High school. He and his family will be in my prayers in the days to come. Looking at his picture he does not look like he has changed a bit from high school.
