
Juanita “Nita” Brigdon, known to those who loved her as “Mom Mom” passed away peacefully among family and friends on May 17, 2019. She was born on November 23, 1949, in Baltimore, MD and later relocated to Southern Georgia where she will be laid to rest.
Nita was a loving spirit that devoted her time to helping and uplifting others. She was enjoy crafting and seamstress and her family and friends adored her work; especially the pillows she made and the alterations and fixes she made to clothing that allowed loved ones to continue to enjoy them. Nita is also remembered for her love of dancing and watching Sci-Fi movies.
She is survived by her mother Marie Kane, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters, children Susan Hadel, Edward Hadel, Kenny Hadel, Tonya Brigdon and John Brigdon. She also survived by host grand and great grandchildren’s, nieces and nephews that she loved greatly. She loved to spending time with her family and giving to others. She will be missed by many!
In lieu of donations, we are asking that the family be uplifted in prayer and surrounded by love and support during this difficult time.
