Judith McCaskill (Moffatt), 66, died peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 07:20 p.m. at The Social of Savannah under GA hospice care.
Judith was born to late James Moffatt and Lillian Moffatt on October 9, 1956, in Colon, Panama.
She was a federal employee for many years at the Augusta VA and retired in 2019 with 28 years of service.
She loved God and was a regular churchgoer at Sharon Baptist Church in Augusta, GA.
She served in the choir, praise dance, and bible study.
Crafting was one of her main hobbies. She would always say she is just trying to make pocket change. She made everything from dolls, bags, purses and left us all with something she has made that will make you remember her.
Judith is survived and leaves her love and memories to be cherished by her mother, Lillian Moffatt; 3 brothers, James Moffatt, Stephen Moffatt, and John Moffatt; her husband, Julius McCaskill Sr., who has 2 kids, Julita Wright, and Julius McCaskill Jr.; 3 grandkids, Jamiah McCaskill, Adecia Wright, and Ray Wright III; 1 great-grandchild she never got to meet, Amira Wright; her son-in-law, Ray wright Jr.; nieces, nephews, and other members of the family, along with a big host of friends.
Judith was a loving mother, grandmother, family member, and friend, who had a lively personality.
Judith (Judy) McCaskill will be greatly missed by all.
Thanks to everyone who showed love for my mom.
The funeral service will be held at Families First Funeral Care, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
