Judy Suhor died on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 67 years old.
She leaves behind her sister, Harriet Faucheux; children, Thomas, Dustan, Jessica, and Joey; and grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Alexis, Paisley, Mason, Elizabeth, Joey, Victoria, Brooklyn, and Emma. Judy was preceded in death by her brother and sisters; William Colwart, Clarence Colwart, Jr., Marie Colwart and Claire Difulco. She will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifetime friends.
Judy was the daughter of Clarence J. Colwart, Sr. and Flavia G. Colwart. She was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 14, 1955 where she spent much of her youth until moving to Shawnee, Georgia with her husband Joseph Suhor. She then went on to become a Probate Judge for Effingham County where she served many years. After retiring, she enjoyed relaxing in her home, talking on the phone with friends, and tending to her Schnauzers. She will be remembered for her quick wit and amazing ability to get things done. Her talents were endless, and she rarely found a challenge for which she couldn’t find a solution if she put her mind to it.
Her visitation will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on July 9, 2022.

My love and prayers are with the family. Judy was an amazing woman. I remember the long phone calls we used to have. She will be greatly missed.
