Katherine Eva Cebada Veal

Katherine Eva Cebada Veal passed away on December 6, 2021, at Memorial Hospital.

She leaves behind her husband of 50 years John D. Veal, her children Angela Duke (Abram) and John P. Veal (Jessie). She is also survived by her three brothers Oden Cebada, Jr. (Linda), Anthony Cebada (Robin), Richard Cebada (Jenny) and two sisters Dorothy Hamilton (Ed) and Liza Gorumba; four Grandchildren Aiden Duke, Bryna Veal, Hunter Veal, Evan Duke, and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Oden Cebada, Sr. and Esther Cebada and her brother Michael Cebada.

She was retired from Effingham Health Department, a member of Countryside Baptist Church and loved her family and friends. She fought hard through many injuries and illnesses to live a full, happy and useful life despite life’s trials. She was an inspiration to many and will be missed by all who knew her.

She had requested to be cremated and her Memorial Service will be at Countryside Baptist Church, 1201 Noel Conaway Road, (Highway 30), Guyton, Georgia on Saturday December 11, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00.
