In Loving Memory of Kathy Darlene DeLoach
May 8, 1961 – May 26, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy Darlene DeLoach, who left this world on May 26, 2025, at the age of 64. Kathy was born on May 8, 1961 to Arthur Richard and Mary Malphrus O’Brien. She lived a life defined by kindness, resilience, and a boundless capacity to love.
Kathy was the proud and devoted mother of two children, Sasha Rotellini and Bratten (Hallie) DeLoach. Her greatest joy came from her role as “Grammy” to her nine beloved grandchildren: Dylan, Carrie, Mariah, Preston, Abby, Emma, Julianna, Jocelynne, and Camdyn. Her family was her heart, and she poured her energy and affection into each of them.
She is survived by her four brothers—Arthur, Chris, Bill, and Eric—who knew her as a fiercely loyal sister and a constant source of love and laughter. She is predeceased by her brother Craig.
In addition to her brothers, children, and grandchildren, Kathy had cousins, an aunt, and many friends who loved her very much.
Kathy was a rare soul who never met a stranger. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel seen and valued, always striving to learn everyone’s name and story. Her warmth and friendliness turned acquaintances into friends, and her presence was a comfort to many.
Her tenacity and determination were unmatched—whether facing life’s challenges or championing the people she loved, Kathy never gave up and never backed down. Her strength inspired those around her, and her legacy will endure in the lives she touched so deeply.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held at a later date. In the meantime, her family invites you to honor her memory by living with the same openness, courage, and compassion that she embodied every day.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
