Kenneth A. Daughtry (Kenny), age 56, of Savannah passed away Friday, May 13th, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Kenny grew up in Savannah at Silk Hope. He was a Master Control Operator for WTOC Television for thirty-nine years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin C. and Melba Daughtry, and a brother Anthony “Wayne” Daughtry, Kenny is survived by a brother, Larry C. Daughtry; a niece, Shari D. Wilson (Randy) and great-niece Libby D. Wilson; a few aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the CCU, NICU, and 5th floor nurses of St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassion and care for the two weeks that Kenny was under their care.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Kenny’s life will be held at the Salt Creek Boat Landing on Sunday, May 22nd at 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests the remembrances be made to the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association, or the American Diabetes Association.

I’m very sorry to hear about Kenny I’ve known him since 1978 in high school I no longer live in savannah but recently found out about kennys passing my prayers though late are with his family
