It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth (Kenny) Wayne Rose, age 68, of Bloomingdale, GA, on March 29, 2025. Kenny was born on July 8, 1956, in Richmond, KY, to Shelby Rose and Norma Jean Howe.
Kenny devoted the majority of his life to the carpentry industry, where he became a master in window installations. His expertise and craftsmanship were widely respected, but it was his kindness, sense of humor, and genuine love for people that truly defined him. Kenny never met a stranger and had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and appreciated.
In his free time, Kenny found joy in fishing, playing golf, and spending time with his friends and family. His easy-going nature and zest for life made him a beloved friend and family member who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kenny is survived by his children: Sandy Rose Chapman of Waco, TX; Keri Rose of Middletown, OH; Rodney Rose of Bloomingdale, GA; Macey Martin of Monroe, NC; and Kenny Rose of Ellabell, GA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Additionally, Kenny leaves behind his brothers: Rodney Rose of Richmond, KY; Rick Rose of Felton, DE; Ronnie Rose of Hamilton, OH; and his sister Sharon Fugate of Hamilton, OH.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Shelby Rose; stepmother, Ada Rose; mother, Norma Jean Howe; sister, Patricia Rose; and sister, Linda Perez-Dotel.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support received during this difficult time. Kenny will forever be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the lasting impact he had on everyone he met.
A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kenny’s memory to the American Heart Association.
May he rest in peace.
