La’Shawn Rowe Foster II

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved La, who departed this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026. La was born on a beautiful Saturday, February 3, 2001, in the charming city of Savannah, Georgia, where they spent much of their life bringing joy and kindness to those around them.

Residing in their hometown of Savannah, La was known for their warmth, generosity, and a smile that could light up a room. They touched many lives through their work as a driver, always going the extra mile with dedication and a caring spirit.

La was preceded in death by their cherished father, La’shawn Rowe Foster, whose love and wisdom left a lasting imprint on La’s life. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of family and love.

Lashawn is survived a loving mother Ericka Foster: 3 beautiful daughters, Janolah, Lanolah and Sanylah Foster; a son, Jaycen Spikes; and a baby girl Foster due in 2 months; 2 brothers, Sahjid Young, and Rashad Luke; three sisters, Aminata, Aliyah Luke and Sumaya Foster; three aunts, Lorraine Debnam Mecca and Sakina Luke; three uncles, Mohammed, Andre, Maurice Luke; and two grandfathers, Jesse Rowe Foster and Johnny Luke.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. The arrangements are being compassionately handled by Families First Funeral Care & Cremation Center, who have been entrusted with honoring La’s life and legacy.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we celebrate the vibrant life La lived and the beautiful memories they leave behind. May La rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved them.
