Lula Mae Lewis, born November 28, 1942, transitioned to the eternal gates of glory on May 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Lula Mae Lewis retired from Noritake Industries and had a plethora of talents as a seamstress/tailor, specialized in making ceramics, a league bowler, a love for singing, and a love for all crafts. She attended Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church until her health starting failing.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert Lewis, and her beautiful daughters Phyllis Martin (Virgil), Rhonda Cheever (Anthony), Wanda Harvey (William), Bridget Stephens (Lamar), and Laquinta Larry (Robert), and CC Williams (Godson). She will be missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren LaCarsha Williams, Robert Harvey, Shatari Albert, Jill Williams, Tiffany Stephens, Brandon Watters, Gabriel Stephens, Joshua Harvey, and Dorian Stephens.
Additionally, she will be remembered by siblings Walter Barney (preceded in death), Harold Barney (Gladys), Florrie McGhee, Sandra Collins (preceded in death), Gwen Campbell, Carolyn Hilton, Jeannette Sims (preceded in death), Dorothy Brown (Joe), and a host of nieces and nephews. Also, she will be missed by her brother-in-laws and sister laws Fort Meade, FL (Lewis-Hometown).
We thank Savannah Hospice/Georgia Hospice, Family First Funeral Home, and nurses and staff for their diligent services for taking care of our loved one.
