To Mary’s family,
Please accept my sympathy on the loss of you mother, grandmother, and sister. I met her when she came to Riverview, we immediately hit it off with our SVA connection.
I just want you to know that she received the anointing of the sick on November 11. She was very weak that day but managed a beautiful smile when Fr. Gabriel and I were leaving.
She was a lovely person with a beautiful, child like faith. It was an honor to know her.
My husband brought Holy Communion to the residents today and took one last look at Mary and her dear friend Margaret’s empty room. The two of them prayed together every night. May they both rest in peace🙏

I enjoyed getting to know Mary and Margaret through the Card Ministry at St. James. Mary always had a positive outlook. I was so surprised and saddened when I got to her room today and realized she was no longer there. She will always be in our hearts.
