
Mary P. Guild, 87, of Savannah, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at her residence under the care of Hospice Savannah.
She was born, July 5, 1928, in Atlanta to Alexander Patterson and Ada Bailey Patterson. At an early age she moved to Savannah. She was employed with Savannah/Chatham Leisure Services as a Playground Director. Mrs. Guild volunteered for many years as a basketball and track coach at Nativity School. She enjoyed traveling to St. Petersburg Beach, Florida for over 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Douglas Henry Guild, Sr. and a daughter, Martha A. Guild.
Survivors include her daughter, Alexis Moncrief (Jay White); her daughter, Tricia Christensen; her son: Douglas Guild (Cathleen); her daughter, Connie Buckley; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Guild will be private.
