
Matthew D Archer , was a force of nature who made his presence known to the world on Thursday September 30, 1982 in Boynton Beach Florida to parents David L Archer and Suzanne (Toth) Archer .Matthew was second generation Hungarian and he lived his life on his own terms in keeping with a line from one of his favorite musician Jimmy Buffett- “I’d rather die while I’m living than live while I’m dying.” Matthew was a daredevil both as a car driver as well as riding his electric scooter(s). He cheated death many many times and won. But God called him home into his arms, on a dark night December 10, 2023.He leaves behind both parents and a wonderful step dad Chuck. along with his only sibling big brother , Navy veteran of the USS Ronald Reagan, Joshua Thomas Archer, also his soulmate , Linda Brown, along with a host of loving Aunts and Uncles in Ohio, Florida, Texas and Colorado and cousins Corrine, Michael, Cory, Ashley, Adam, Beth , and many many friends from all walks of life. .Matthew attended Palm Beach Gardens High , after High School, he worked in the Food and Beverage industry at the International Governor’s Club Palm Beach, , where at 18 he was able to pursue his love and expertise in the culinary and mixology profession. A trait he inherited from his grandpa Geza Toth. , The Governor’s Club gave him a gold fork/knife pin award for being voted as everyone’s “favorite bartender” for his love for the members, always with a smile, and his ability to remember every members name and favorite beverageMatthew loved to cook , and sing while he made dinner. . He grew his own herbs and vegetables. He liked to play his guitar and harmonica.Matthew had an eye for photography, a trait he inherited from his grandma Gizella.Along with being an avid Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat fan he attended as many games along the sidelines with his camera, where he got some of the best photos of players , coaches and even had the Dolphin Cheerleaders line up for group and individual photos.Mascot “Burnie” chased him around the court trying to tackle Matthew live on air at Heat game with thousands watching.He loved nature and always adopted shelter animals, he leaves behind his cats : 18 yr old Buddy, Little Boy and his new kitty, 5 O’clock somewhere.There will be a private service for Matthew. In lieu of flowers, he asks you help save the earth and plant a tree.
