Michael Paul Aldridge
With a broken heart I tell you of the death of a truly good guy, my son Mike Aldridge passed away apparently in his sleep on October 4, 2023 in Savannah Georgia. He was 59 years old. At this time I do not know the cause of death.
Mike never met a stranger with his catch phrase “how’s it going”. A trait I really admired about him.
Mike was looking forward to a new phase of his life by transferring to Dallas Texas. He loved his job at Gulfstream in Savannah Georgia and felt he made a real contribution. But he had been there 13 year or more and it was time to move on. Mike loved exploring new places and trying new things. This is a trait he got from his dad. We called it the “Aldridge Way” He also tried to talk everyone else into going with him as his friends and family know.
I worked with Mike for some time at Gulfstream and he always went the extra mile to help with his kind and courteous manner. Never said no to anyone and always walked to hallways with a smile. Very sad to hear of his passing, our brother will be greatly missed.
I also worked with Mike at Gulfstream on the G700 & G800.. He was my “go to” guy when I needed to information concerning Completions designs. He was always helpful and maintained a positive attitude under stressful work conditions. He was a true Gulfstream man who took pride in his work and our product. He gave his best to make us best. Thank you, Mike.
I am so saddened to hear of Mikes passing. He truly was one of the kindest and inclusive friends I have ever had. He helped anyone in his path and he did talk me into going “job shopping” on the east coast which was an adventure for me. He blessed my life with his presence and friendship and will be truly missed. God rest his soul. Condolences to the Aldridge family.
My sincere condolences to the Aldridge family. I had many interactions with Mike at Gulfstream. He was always friendly and willing to help. Thank you very much Mike, you will be missed.
Condolences to the family and friends. I’m saddened by this news. I’ve known Mike for a few years, and he was great to be around. I enjoyed having lunches with him and our many conversations where he shared his experience with me. Our interactions were always fun and positive. He will be greatly missed!
Mike was always Professional and Diligent in any of the meetings I interacted with him. His presence was very calm which inspired some of us with a level of tranquility in stressful situations. Sincere condolences to the family and I pray his soul rest in peace. We will miss him for sure.
I was truly shocked to hear of Mike’s passing. I enjoyed working with Mike. He always took the time to answer any questions for his workmates. He loved walking his dog, one trait of a kind-hearted person. Mike and his family will be in our prayers.
Very saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. He was always helpful and fun to work with. He often asked about how myself and family were doing, that was very appreciated. He sincerely cared about his co-workers. He will be greatly missed. So sorry for the loss to his family and friends.
Dear Aldridge Family, I am so sorry to hear of Mike’s sudden passing. Mike stood out at his workplace because of his kind and gentle spirit. I will miss him. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace.
