Michael Cycyk, Age 87, of Savannah, GA, passed away on November 6th from a hard fought battle with congestive heart failure.
Michael was born July 9th 1935 in Johnstown, PA. He graduated from Johnstown High (Trojans). He joined the Air Force in 1952 and retired in 1977. Michael then worked and retired from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Michael and family then moved to Savannah Ga and placed his roots where he enjoyed retirement.
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Catherine Cycyk, Brothers John and Frank Cycyk, sister Alice Cycyk and son in law Robert Lane. Michael is survived by His loving Wife of 54 years Sandra Cycyk, His Daughters Carolyn Lane, Janet Stewart (Jim), Lorie Ferrel (Harry), Cyndi Hansen (Ted), son Michael Cycyk (Danita) and Sister Mary Parley.
Michael has (14) Grand-children and (17) Great Grand-children and several nieces and nephews. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I wish I could be there to put my arms around you for a great big hug. You are in my prayers.
So very sorry for loss. But celebrate the life that he shared with you.
Uncle Mike was a frequent reminder of my dad. I will miss seeing his face on Facebook. My heart breaks for his wife and children. God bless the Cycyk gang! Love you guys.
PS—Uncle Mike please let my dad know I miss him everyday.

Mike Cycyk was my uncle and one of the kindest, most gentle souls I know. He was one of the first male figures I had since I was born and I will miss him dearly. He was a real testament of what a man and father should be. My thoughts, heart and prayers go out to his family. I am truly sorry for the loss of this great man. I love you Uncle Mike, until we meet again.
