Michael James Fanning, age 41, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Born in Savannah, he worked as a Home Repairman for many years.
He was preceded in death by, his father, William Thomas Fanning, Jr., maternal grandmother, Dorothy Creamer, maternal grandfather, William P. Creamer, paternal grandmother, Sarah Fanning, paternal grandfather, William Fanning, Sr., Uncles, John Fanning and James Fanning.
Survivors include his mother, Susan Creamer Fanning of Savannah, his sister, Jessica Burless (Michael) of Savannah, niece DayJah Fanning of Savannah, his Aunt, Judy Ricks of Savannah, his uncle, Edward Creamer (Lauren Lewaller) of Duluth, GA., his aunt, Nancy Shapiro (Joe McIntyre) of Henderson, NV., his uncle, David Creamer (Glynis Creamer)of Villa Rica, Georgia, his uncle, Frank Creamer (Ann Creamer) of Washington State, his uncle, Bill Creamer of New Jersey, many cousins in Georgia, Nevada, Washington State, and Missouri and a number of other relatives and many friends.
Burial will be Greenwich Cemetery.

He was always nice when I was around him, he was a friend to a circle of friends to us both, I am so sorry for his family’s loss. May his soul Rest In Peace.
Ms. Susan, I’m so sorry that this has happened to your baby boy. I just can’t imagine, this has just came out of nowhere.and I’m Still in shock. My heart hurts to know that he’s no longer here with us.. He was a true friend in every sense of the word. A loyal man, that knew what it meant to be loyal, and honored it, but most of all, just an amazing man, and all around good person. I loved him so much. We had a lot of plans we wanted to impliment, that we will never get to now. God knows, Everytime I came over, u were always in the kitchen, and always takin care of him. I know how much he loved his mama, we often talked about how important family is and how much you have been there for him. Trust and believe he loved his momma, and I’m so so sorry momma. As a mother of 2 sons and a daughter myself, My heart hurts for you,truly…If there is ANYTHING AT ALL you need I am here for you.

Words cannot express how much Michael will be missed. Too soon. That I know to be true. He was taken too soon. Cannot understand how much pain you and your family are going through. My sincere Condolances to you and yours
