Sean was a very proud and devoted Daddy and Granddaddy. His greatest passion in life was his family. He found pleasure in the simplest of things. He enjoyed: family vacations to Disney World, fishing, crabbing, tomato picking and grilling. He valued time spent with longtime friends, playing ping-pong and watching football and basketball. He was a very hardworking man always providing for his family. Sean is preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Sara Reed. He is survived by his loving wife, Robin, daughters: Marisa, Megan and Macayla Reed, grandchildren: Sean Sisco and Rosemary Reed-Judy, brothers: Bill Reed (Betty), Mark Reed, sister Tami Gates (Tim) and several nieces and nephews. Sean left a legacy of love, he will always be loved and missed very much.
A private service will be held by the immediate family.

I only knew Sean for 2 years, through work. And boy did he make an lasting impression on me.
From his daily philosophy about life, to his love for his family. You will be missed. Prayers for your family.

I worked with Sean and I have to say he was the kind of guy you’d never forget. He always had advice to give and he always had a funny story to tell. A very loyal guy, to those he respected. Very intelligent and loved to debate philosophical and religious topics.
I’ll miss being around him!

I also worked with Dr. Sean Reed for the last few years. He was my doctor of philosophy at CED. Every topic we discussed was the brightest part of my day at work. I hope he knew how much I loved our conversations. I looked forward to seeing him every day. When he was not at work, I had a feeling of disappointment that he was not there. Unfortunately, I have to deal with that every day now. My hope is he is in a better place. To his family, I have just one thing to say, He was loved and respected by me and I will miss him and think of him often.

Sean Reed cared about his family to the core. He was one of the most honest hard working men I have ever met in my life. He always put his family first. He was an amazing grandfather and a true gift to this world. Every day we shared with him was a blessing.

I wanted to put a message on here days ago, but I just couldn’t do it.
I just couldn’t find words to express how devastated our family is without Sean.
I am still so sad & full of disbelief that Sean died.
Sean was my brother-in-law.
I love him like a brother.
He was in our family more than 40 years.
My heart grieves for Sean because he was still so full of life with so many plans.
He & Robin made a beautiful family with their 3 daughters, grandson & granddaugher.
Sean would want his family to be strong & live full happy lives, so we will honor him by doing our best.
We will live our lives always loving & missing Sean. ❤️
