Mildred Milagros Kasabalis

Mildred (Millie) Kasabalis, age 60, of Pooler, passed away Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 at The Place at Pooler Nursing Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Gonzalo and Carmen Pantoja Mendez.

Mildred was a member of the Garden City Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses and involved in the Richmond County Board of Education where she worked as a teacher for over 10 years.

Preceded in death by her parents and Maria L. Mendez; survivors include daughters Francis M. Craton of Savannah, Natalie A. Podolski of Savannah, Kay J. Stiles of Savannah, a son, William B. Acevedo of Poland and many grandchildren–Bradley, Estelle, Aliya, Brandon, Ava, Sophia, Alijah, Olivia, Madison, Gabriel and London.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 30th, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall Johovah’s Witnesses in Garden City, GA at 6:30 p.m.
