Born on July 10, 1944, in the St. James District of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, Ms. Norma Kathleen Ramdeen was a woman of unparalleled intellect and an undying love and passion for the people that came into her life.
Upon entering her higher education at the University of West Indies in Trindade and graduating with an Associate Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, Norma’s career path and skillset took her across the globe, working as a budget analyst in Kansas and New York, as well as Germany and Italy.
After already mastering several languages such as Latin, French, and Italian, her work ethic and ambition motivated her to seek continued education at the Tranquility Secondary School in Trinidad, until she ultimately obtained a very prestige career, spanning over two decades, as the personal secretary to the Ambassador at the Korean Embassy.
Despite her often very busy schedule, Norma always found the time to follow her creative endeavors and passions and spend her off-time creating art pieces, sewing shoes, or upholstering furniture.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; Boysie and Mable Ramdeen, and her three siblings; Diane Ramdeen, Horace Ramdeen, and Anthony (Tony) Ramdeen.
To cherish her memories, Norma leaves behind her three children; Michelle Moreira, Joseph Moreira, and Marc Anthony Coar, seven grandchildren; Daniel Moreira (Nicole Moreira), Dianne Harden (Marcus Harden), Lorenzo Moreira (Desire Moreira), Cherie Moreira, Yuri Coar, Sasha Coar, and Dominique Coar, ten great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
