Alan Nutes, age 62, of Pooler passed away Monday, April 13th, 2015 at his Residence under the care of Hospice Savannah.
A native of New York City, he was the son of Leon Nutes and Cecelia Schwalb Nutes. In Alan’s early years, he attained his Bachelor’s degree at William Patterson College in Wayne, NJ, while also serving in the U.S. Army. He married his wife, Pamela Nutes and began working for Newell Rubbermaid doing business management security. Alan was also involved in the American Society for Industrial Security International. As Alan grew older, he developed a love of wine making, taking photos (for he was a natural when the camera was in his hands), an appreciation for traveling all over the world with work and most importantly, an admiration and great love for his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, survivors include his Wife of Pooler, Ga; daughters, Kimberly Gomez (Irving) of Lodi, NJ and Michelle Boatman (Sanford) of North Brunswick, NJ; grandsons, Jacob Gomez, Alex Gomez, Derek Boatman; and sister, Beth Boettger of Greensboro, NC.
That family wishes that any donations be made to Hospice Savannah.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 at Finn’s Point National Cemetery in Pennsville, NJ.

Travis O. Taylor, Sr. age 82, of Savannah, passed away Saturday, April 11th, 2015 at his Residence.
A native of Mississippi, he was the son of Charles Taylor and Cola Sheppard Taylor. In Mr. Taylor’s early years he served in the U.S. Army and attended college. Mr. Taylor married Joyce Walker and decided to become an Insurance Salesman.

James Riner, age 82, of Savannah passed away Friday, April 10th, 2015 at Kindred Healthcare.
A native of Collins, he was the son of James Reecy Riner and Eliza Jane Lynn Riner. James was employed by the City of Savannah doing landscaping.
Preceded in death by his sons, Kenneth Dal Riner and Timothy Dal Riner, and parents, survivors include daughter Rhonda Saxton of Savannah, GA; granddaughter, Melissa Bray (Jamie) of Savannah, GA; great-grandson, Dawson Christopher Lynn Bray and sister, Edner Taylor of Tennessee.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park – West in Savannah.
