I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:2-3.
On June 1, 2024, Jesus led Sister Pamela Cheresse Outsey Askew to her heavenly mansion that he promised her.
Pamela was born on August 29, 1967, in Fairfield Alabama at Lloyd Noland Hospital to the late James and Bertha Outsey. She confessed Christ at an early age and attended the Miracle Temple Deliverance Church under the ministry of Pastor Elder Brooks in Pratt City, Alabama.
Church was a priority in the life of Pamela and she became a leader in the house of God as well as an awesome praise dancer-offering up praises to the Lord in conjunction with the Holy Spirit by which she was inhabited. Pamela was a product of the Fairfield School system; and after receiving her diploma, she attended Jacksonville State University and Theodore Alford Lawson State Community College in Birmingham Alabama.
Pamela later moved to Portsmouth Virginia where she met and married Kelsie Askew to whom she remained in Holy matrimony until her departure to be with the Lord (To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord). Together they raised their three sons Johnathan B. Outsey, Casey D. Outsey, and Kelsie L. Outsey-Askew.
Pamela established and owned a successful business during her lifetime by name of Mae’s Baby Clown, Catering, and Concessions. She also was involved in inventions, some of which she sought to secure a patent on prior to her departure. She was a friendly outgoing woman who was well loved by many in and out of the household of Faith.
Pamela was preceded in death are by her parents: James and Bertha Outsey; her grandparents: Joe and Bertha Jackson, her brother: James, her brother: Clarence, Aunts: Doris Blue, Lelia Young, Mozella DeVaughn, Rosa Parham and Uncles. She leaves to mourn her husband (Kelsie), Sons: Johnathon, Casey, and Kelsie; out of her 7 siblings, 3 sisters: Karen, Greselda, and Cassandra and 2 brothers: Kevin and Michael; and her cherished grandchildren (Jordan, Kaecean, Kalani, Kaydence, and Kinsley). She also leaves to mourn many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, with which she was very much instrumental. We love you! Pamela, Chef P, Praising Pamela, Pam Pam, Mrs. Pam, Wife, Mother, Grandma, and Auntie.

My sister Pamela has such a beautiful spirit. She will meet me at the gate with a bouquet of beautiful singing flowers. I will never forget the bouquet of flowers she picked and presented to me as a little girl with a big smile on her face. Love you my sister always and forever.
