Condolences for the family of “Patricia Winston McQuaid”

Condolence from Graham Winston on January 31st, 2015 8:01 pm

For all the good things that were said at Pat’s memorial service, it saddens me to see that nothing has posted here on her behalf.
Pat was many things to many people. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, neice, cousin, and friend; and she filled each of those roles to there fullest. Her love abounded and was unconditional. She was a wonderful lady while here on this earth and she is still serving us as wonderful angel in Heaven.
We love you and miss you and think of you everyday. Our comfort comes in knowing that you are with God and that we will we you again my Dear. Till we meet again.

With all our love-
Chip, Joan & family.

Condolence from Helene Domi on February 6th, 2015 2:30 pm

I first met Pat in 1989 when I began working at Quarles Petroleum. She was always smiling and always cold!!! I ended up buying a house on the most windy, narrow, curvy road in Stafford, Virginia and was so surprised when I found out Pat was my neighbor. I came to know her husband, Chuck, and all her dogs and cats. She babysat for me, advised me and always honked when she drove by.
I helped Pat pack her pantry as she prepared to move to Georgia. We laughed over our days at Quarles and she comforted me over the loss of my mom. Pat was the kindest woman I have ever met. Her love for her family and friends was only second to her love for God.
I am selfish in that I wish Pat was still down the road, honking as she went for dialysis. I know she is in her eternal home with Chuck; with no tears or pain. I love you,Pat and I miss you. I look forward to seeing you again.

Condolence from Marie Silva on February 6th, 2015 8:10 pm

I met Pat over 35 years ago through Steve Annino in Virginia. I remember helping with her wedding to Chuck in a local park that they both loved. I remember many meals at their home, BBQs together, watching sappy movies together and jus hanging out. I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing many of Pat’s family. Her family was very important to Pat. Pat was a true friend, there for you through the good, bad and the ugly times. She would do without something for herself to help a friend or family member. She always showed Jesus in all that she did. She truly had a servant’s heart. We lost touch over the years. I moved to California and then we reconnected on Facebook. I have such regrets for not picking up the phone to call her, but I have such joy in knowing that I will see her again one day.

My deepest sympathies go out to her Mom, Larry, Chip, Eric and all of her family at this time. I know there is a void in your lives where this sweet, dear lady had filled that spot. But, I know there is great joy in knowing she has gone home to be with our Father and that you will all be together again.

With much love,
Marie (Annino) Silva
