Phyllis J. Nikola

Phyllis J. Nikola, 83, of Wall, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at home, with her family by her side. Phyllis was born and raised on Staten Island, NY and moved to Wall Township in 1969. She worked as an administrator for Memorial Properties, Marlboro for many years. Phyllis was an avid NY Mets fan and never missed either watching or listening to a game. She also enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lawrence Nikola; six children and their spouses, Larry and June Nikola, Arty and Beth Nikola, Kenny and Ruth Nikola, Donald Nikola and Elizabeth Cross, Lauren McCaffrey and Frank and Lara Nikola; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Phyllis is also survived by her niece, Judy Kempf, with whom she had a special relationship.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. Entombment will be private at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice .
