
Richard D. Crowell Sr. passed away June 8th, 2025 quietly at home with his beloved dog Taz.
He was 60 years old.
Rick, known as Ricky by his siblings, was born in Bremen, Maine to Nancy and Gilbert Crowell
on July 4th, 1964.
After serving his military time, Rick moved to Georgia where he married Patricia Hetrick and had
3 children and informally adopted many of the neighborhood kids.
He was a lineman in Savannah, Ga for many years until his health forced him into retirement.
From then on he focused on his interests; a love of classic cars he shared with his son and
spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 34 years Patty, his sister Patricia Brown,
and his brothers Gilbert and John Crowell.
He is survived by his children; Rachel and Anthony Ferrari of Washington, Richard Jr and
Victoria Crowell of Georgia, Rebecca Crowell of Washington, and his siblings; Carol Nash,
Roberta Cremer, Willis Crowell, Henry Crowell, Susan Purser, Bridget Figueroa, Kenneth
Crowell, Patrick Crowell, and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His family will be holding an informal memorial on his birthday July 4th, 2025 at his home.
