Richard “Jiggy” Driggers

Richard “Jiggy” Driggers, 61, of Ellabell, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Savannah on July 19, 1960 to Israel & Sylvia Driggers, he attended Tompkins High School. He worked in the trucking industry for many years and was presently employed by Gaster Lumber Company. A member of First Baptist Church of Marlow, he enjoyed studying his Bible and listening to Southern Gospel Music. An avid hunter and fisherman, he truly loved his family and will be greatly missed by all.

Preceded in death by his parents and a son, Kevin T. Driggers, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Charlotte; his children, Shawn Driggers (Jessica), Sharon Montgomery (Roy), Kenny Driggers (Cassidee) and Chris Driggers; siblings, Glenn Driggers (Melissa) and Belinda Antee (Johnny); thirteen grandchildren, Carmen, Beau, Kodi, Zoey, Connor, Dregon, Kota, Kevin, C.J., Aria, Cora, Wrenley, and Racheal; one great-grandchild, Blakelynn; mother-in-law, Mary Davis; brothers-in-law, Frank Davis (Kim) and Tim Davis (Becky); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Marlow, 2229 Central Avenue, Guyton, Georgia. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM at the Church.
