Robert W. Morris, age 82, of Port Wentworth passed away Sunday, October 23rd, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

A native of Lyons, he was the son of Everett Morris and Gladys Harden Morris. Robert was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard of Georgia as well as the Sunshine Biscuit Company. He has also been a member of the Lions Club of Port Wentworth.

Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harlan Morris & Thurston Morris; three sisters, Helen Kite, Blanche Burkhalter, and Margaret Burkhalter; and great-granddaughter, Dakota Thompson, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Morris; five children, Tammy Conrad (Eric), Charles Thompson (Susie), Cindy Brunson (Jimmy), Ursula Love (Tony) and Raquel Anderson; nine grandchildren , seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Von Blaylock (Leland) & Pat Snider (Doug); and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Families First Funeral Care. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am in Families First Funeral Care. Interment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
