
Ms. Robin Lynette Johnson was born on October 9, 1971, in Savannah Georgia, to the late Robert Sigur an May Johnson-Griffin. She was the fourth daughter among eight children and grew up surrounded by love and family.
Robin attended Chatham County Public Schools and furthered her education at Tolbert Academy. From an early age, she embraced her faith and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Trinity A.ME. Church, where she was also baptized.
Throughout her life, Robin was known for her dedication, compassion, and unwavering strength. Before her illness began to affect her health, she selflessly devoted her time to caring for her eight children and grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.
She held several jobs, always with a spirit of service and love. Robin worked in Mobile Transportation, assisting the elderly and sick, and served as a security officer for nine years. Her commitment to others was evident in everything she did.
Robin was also a devoted and loving fiancée. She poured her heart into her relationship creating a home filled with warmth, love, and care.
Her legacy lived through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Robin’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering faith.
She was preceded in death by her father: Robert Sigur; grandson Akeem Williams (affectionately know as “King”); brothers Nathaniel Johnson and Timothy Johnson; and sister Roberta Sigur.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted fiancé Leroy Robinson; loving mother May Johnson-Griffin; daughters Shamarra Maxwell, Taqwana Becton, Joneisha Parker, Jonashia Parker, Daviona James; Sons Timothy Becton, Maurice Williams, Samario Williams; Sisters April Wright (Richard), Valerie Frazier (Alfred), Pamela Johnson, and Tiffany McCray; brother Jeffery Tillman; and 10 grandchildren.
