On August 3, 2021 Ronald E. Washburn, Sr. passed away peacefully after a short illness.
Ronald was born on July 3, 1949 to Earl and Mary Washburn in Sherman, Texas. Ronald attended Jenkins High and Windsor Forest before enlisting in the Navy. Ronald was known as Ronnie to his family and friends. Ronnie enjoyed his job working with wood and restoring furniture and antiques. He loved camping and spending time with his family.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Joan Washburn; son, Ronald, Jr.; daughter, Christy (David); stepdaughter, Jessica; son, Jaiden; mother, Mary Mackin; brother, Carl (Karen); sister, Pat (Larry); ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; many family and friends. He will be missed.
He was predeceased by his father, Earl Washburn and sister, Mary Bean.
Ronnie was cremated and we will have a Celebration of Life on September 26, 2021 at 500 Cedar Street, Richmond Hill at 1:00.
