This is a woman I always only knew by “grandma”, who helped make me feel at home and with family whenever I was around. Everyone I know from this family has a certain kindness in their heart that I know she helped make. This is a family that helped raise me for multiple formative years of my life, for no reason than I just happened to spend a lot of my time with them. I’m sad I won’t be able to see her again, or talk to her as the older, wiser person I am now. But I know she still lives on in so many people who I love and care about. I am thankful for her and for the beautiful family she brought to life, and offer my deepest love and condolences to those who are feeling her absence the most.
