Shelly Elizabeth Kontos (nee Hornbuckle) 39, passed away August 13, 2025 after a four year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Shelly is survived by her husband, Chris Kontos, their four-year-old daughter Amelia, her mother Patricia Royer, mother and father-in-law, John and Doreen Kontos, sister-in-law, Julie Kontos & and brother and sister-in-law John & Lauren Kontos.
In accordance with Shelly’s wishes, there will be no service. A Celebration of Life for Shelly is planned for the fall.
