Sheryl W. Shepard, age 77, Passed away at Hospice of Savannah surrounded by family on March 21, 2026.
A native of Macon, GA she later lived in Savannah, GA.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Before retirement she was a certified medical coder for a local hospital. She loved her family, her dogs, bird watching, nature, cooking, music, tennis, Georgia Football and having tea with her dear friend Hope. Mom never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Terry Shepard.
Survivors include her son Tyler B. Shepard of Yulee, FL and her daughter Brandi and (Eric) Regan of Springfield, GA. A Granddaughter Kaitlyn and (Garrett) Helmey of Guyton, GA. and a great granddaughter Rylee Helmey also of Guyton, GA. A second great granddaughter on the way. Her named Emma Kate Helmey.
The family will have a private memorial service to honor her life at a later date.
