Stacey Newman, age 47, was born in Savannah, GA, on August 20, 1977. She went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2024. Stacey is preceded in death by her son, Adam Newman Jr., her mother, Beatrice Ham, and her niece, Star Summers. She is survived by her parents, Henry Summers Sr. (Donna Summers) and Lloyd Harn; her children, Leelynn Wright (Corey Wright) and Layla Newman; and her grandchild, Zaylee Wright. Stacey also leaves behind her siblings: Misty Burnsed (Travis Burnsed), Henry Summers Jr., Tamera Summers (Nelson Carlos), Zabrina Hall, Winnon Ellison (Samantha Ellison), and Sherri Pevey- Her nieces and nephews include Chelsea Pevey, Justin Summers, Mason Burnsed, Maleah Burnsed, James Pratt, Henry Pratt, Roger Hall Jr., and Sharice Anderson Stacey was deeply loved by everyone who knew her, and her contagious laugh could light up any room. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.

Stacey was one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I knew her for at least the last 25 years of my life and when we met it was an instant friendship that bonded into one that I knew would last our lifetime. I will cherish EVERY memory that I have with her. My heart is broken and it will take quite some time to recover from losing her presence in my daily life. I know she was a firm believer in God and she is Resting in his Presence and has finally found peace and comfort in his loving arms. I was heartbroken when I found out Stacy had passed away. We’ve known each other since we were little girls. She lived the next street over behind me and we grew up together.. and as we got older, we reconnected again. we really had some good times. I’m so sorry and I give my condolences to the family.
