It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Stephen Herbert Elmore, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend on December 7, 2020 at the age of 57.

Born in Charleston, WV and later making his home in Savannah, GA working in construction and taking care of his mother. Affectionately, called Uncle Stevie by many, he enjoyed darts, playing pool, fishing, racing, sports of all kinds, video gaming and spending time with family and loved ones. Steve truly enjoyed being around those he loved and was always there to help anyone in need.

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his son Stephen H. Elmore, Jr (Abbi Elmore) and three granddaughters Emma, Gina, and Elli. Forever remembered by his siblings Sharon Ulmer, Linda Elmore, Connie DuBois (C. Tracy DuBois), Danny Elmore and Michelle Elmore. As well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved dearly.
Steve is preceded in death by his mother Gladys Johnston and sister Rosetta Summerford.
We will forever remember Steve for his huge smile, friendliness, and loving heart.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday December 11th at Westside Memorial Gardens on Adams Rd. Bloomingdale, Ga. All friends and family are welcome.

Condolence from Angie Fragale McMillan (cousin) on December 9th, 2020 7:43 pm

Absolutely heartbroken for Stevie and the entire family. I can not think of anyone whose path I’ve crossed that had a more loving and selfless heart. A gentle giant who loved the opportunity to give you a hard time and then just laugh. I’ll miss your phone greetings of “Hey Lady”.

I pray that memories of the good times comfort family & friends in the days and weeks ahead. What a blessing he was was to so many.

Sending much love to you all.
