Susan (Sue) Marie Gerow, 60 of Savannah, GA passed on July 11, 2023.
Sue was a loving nurse who cared for all compassionately and unconditionally. She was a
dedicated wife to Levick Gerow, Air Force Veteran. She was a proud mother to her child,
Richard Kluck III and to his wife Kursten Kluck, who all cared for Sue with so much
compassion during her illness.
After surviving breast cancer many years ago and recently battling peritoneal cancer, her health
took a rapid decline. She passed with loved ones by her side in the comfort of her home. Her
dog Bailey and her cat Callie were also by her side.
Sue was a 1981 graduate of Hopewell High School and a 1985 graduate of Pittsburgh. She also received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Armstrong State College. She was employed as a dialysis nurse at Coastal Dialysis in
Savannah, then became a dialysis manager in Beaufort, SC. A few years later she returned to
Savannah and worked the nursing floor and as a home instructor.
Sue loved to cook and was always the life of the party. She loved to dance and sing to 80s
music, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She enjoyed celebrating every holiday and
always made sure everyone was having a great time.
Sue is preceded in death by her father Leo “Butch” Rosa. Survivors include her mother: Bonita
Rosa, brothers: Michael and John Rosa and sister: Christine Rosa.
She is also survived by her son, Richard Kluck III and his wife, Kursten Kluck. She will be missed dearly by her nephew and niece Zach and Erica Rosa, father of her child Richard Kluck Jr., sister in-law Tamra Rosa,
stepchildren Logan and Shauna, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, patients, and coworkers.
