Ms. Susie E Singleton, 96, was born on June 22, 1928, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late David Singleton and Euris Audrey Mae Singleton. She went home to be with the Lord on July 8, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Ms. Singleton spent her life in Savannah. She was a quiet woman who led a modest life. She worked as a housekeeper. Her focus was on her family. Her faith in God was her foundation. She valued honesty and hard work, qualities she instilled in her children. Earlier in life, she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a member of Overcoming by Faith Church.
Ms. Singleton is preceded in death by her parents David Singleton and Euris Audrey Mae Singleton, and her sister, Ruth Singleton.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Charles Singleton, Sr. (Lenora) of Savannah, Georgia, Audrey Brinson Mack of Savannah, Georgia, and Vanessa Horry (James) of Savannah, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Charles Singleton Jr., Sylvia Singleton, David King (Ashley), Felice Mack, Briauna Patrick, James Horry III, and Janessa “Gabby” Horry; eight great grandchildren: Josiah Singleton, Austin Singleton, Dallas Singleton, Daniel Cooper, Jordan Allen, Andre Mungin. Jr., Pharaoh Singleton, and Christopher King; one great-great grandchild: Luella Singleton.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM., July 20,2024, at Overcoming by Faith Church, 9700 Middle Ground Road, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
