Terry Powell Williams, age 48, peaceful transitioned to his heavenly home on February 4, 2026.
Terry was born August 18, 1977, in Savannah, Georgia to the late Ronnie and Remonia Williams.
Terry was a proud graduate of Windsor Forrest High School class of 1997. Terry had a multitude of things he enjoyed. One might say he had his very own mini museum. If we were to visit his bedroom right now this is what we would find…Transformers, Star Wars memorabilia, comic ( comic con ) books, as well as books with cheat codes to video games.
If you lived in Savannah, at some point, you have seen Terry walking up and down Abercorn Street. You could offer him a ride, but it would be guaranteed that he wasn’t getting in that car. Lol. His favorite mode of transportation The Cat bus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother Clinton D. Powell, Grandparents Nevada Powell, Jack and Zadell Williams.
He is survived by his siblings Allen ( Tina ) of Huntsville, AL; Melvin of Cary, NC; and Veronica ( Nay ) of Savannah, GA; 3 Nieces-Alexis, Jordan, Naveah; 3 Nephews-Maurice, Tremaine (aka Moriah), Nathaniel; and Grandnephew Josiah. Terry is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will miss him greatly.
At the family’s request, in lieu flowers, it is asked that you donate to the local Goodwill or the autism society in honor of Terry.
As a tribute to our dear brother, we will forego traditional home-going attire. You are welcome to wear animated cosplay or anime shirt as attire will be representation of honoring Terry’s life.
Memorial services will be February 16, 2026, at 11 AM Family First Funeral Care & Cremation Center located at 1328 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, Ga 31405.
No Burial or Repass Post-Gathering after Memorial Service.

The White Family
Williams Family,
“..those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out..” John 5:28,29. May your memories bring you peace and comfort.

Uncle Terry will be greatly missed. I’m grateful for 30 plus years of memories with him and being able to know him. He was one of the greatest, most unique, and caring people that I had the pleasure of knowing. To my family, we will carry on his legacy and love together.
Germaine
Today we remember Terry with heavy hearts and deep gratitude. Terry’s presence was a steady light, the kind that made rooms warmer and people feel seen.
Holding Terry’s family and loved ones close in thought. May the memories bring comfort, may the love shared bring strength, and may Terry’s spirit continue to shine in all who were fortunate enough to know him. 🕊️
Melvin (Big Bro) Williams
Brother Terry, may your light continue to shine brighter than ever…for you have transcended to a better place. Until we are reunited, you will be deeply missed & loved.
Terrence (Terry) Anthony Wilburg Jr.
Amen Melvin.
Many know that you care deeply for your little brother (my namesake) and would always do your best to show up for him in memorable intervalic touch points in his life to always remind him that you loved him. You are his Hero and you are right in his wheelhouse because he loves a hero. In moniker alone I can relate to Terry and when our loved ones depart in the physical it’s always a reminder that time is precious, that we need to make the most of how we use it and that we do our best to encourage the ones we love and be kind to all who are on our journey with us. We are roommates on earth with the free will options to Love, to be a blessing or a pain point in each other’s lives and bottom line, our connections echo in eternity. Seize the Day.
In Sincere Love,
Terrence (Terry) Wilburg

Terry, i know your brother Melvin & through him, Mea & I feel as though we know you. While typing this short message, i feel joy in my heart. I feel as though the physical is gone, for now, the spirit is here. The feeling of warmth, peace, and happiness. I know deep in my heart you are in a better place & this is a celebration. A celebration of your life & the many lives you’ve touched. Although a conversation was never had between you & i, know that you have extended family here in NC (Mea & I) whom love you dearly. Fly high & shine bright like a diamond. Sophea and Mea

Sorry for your loss.
The Mobleys--Seed Church
Psalm 139:12-14 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
2 Corinthians 5:7-9 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
Ecclesiastes 3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
It grieves our family to know Terry is gone from his Earthly home. We won’t see our brother holding his bible, tight to his heart, stepping back and forth, enjoying praise and worship at church. Terry was a faithful member of the church from “Old Montgomery– Mustard Seed Faith Church” to Chatham Parkway “SeedChurch.” Your kind, gentle, dedicated, and saved soul will be missed. Brother, I know you are rejoicing and enjoying your mansion that Jesus has prepared for you. Blessing and peace, Powell Williams Family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
