Thomas Robert Gudgeon, born on August 20, 1960, in Oak Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025.
He was the cherished son of the late Robert and Carole Gudgeon.
Tom was the beloved husband of Patricia Gudgeon (nee Haff).
He was a devoted father and leaves behind his children Lee Gudgeon (Ashley), Shannon Barss (Adam), Melissa Hartman (William), Gregory States (Colleen) and the late Connor Gudgeon.
Tom took immense pride in being a grandfather to Cassidy and Dylan Hartman, Aubrey and Ava Ayres, Connor and Paul Gudgeon, Natalie and Liam States, and Amelia and Ainsley Barss, who all brought joy and light to his life.
Tom was also a loving brother to Anne Hughes (Michael).
Tom loved to fish and was a passionate card player. He cherished the moments spent with his family and friends, always with his loyal companion, Winston, by his side.
He dedicated many years of his professional life to American Banknote in Horsham, Pennsylvania, before taking on his “dream job” at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in Fort Worth, Texas, where he took great pride in his work.
Arrangements will be private.
Tom will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
