
Thomas “Tom” Kirwan passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 79 at his home in Bloomingdale, GA under the care of Hospice Savannah. Tom was born to Elva and John Kirwan on December 28, 1942 in Lima, Ohio.
After graduating from Elida high school, Tom lived in various places during his life, spending most of his life in Arizona and Tennessee. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix it” while working as a landscaper at a music studio in Nashville. In his latter years, he moved back to Bloomingdale, Ga. to spend more time with his family. Tom always had a passion for animals. He was exceptionally close to Lucy and Snorkel while living in Tennessee.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Patty Swenson. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Williams (Mark) of Bloomingdale, his son, Bruce Kirwan of Garden City, grandchildren, Bruce Kirwan Jr., Darrell Williams, Lauren Rotureau (James), Meagan Short (Will), and two great grandchildren.
