Timothy Randolph Sayre, 53, died on Monday, July 14, 2025.
Born in Statesboro, Georgia on June 20, 1972, Tim was the son of Randy Sayre and Gay Martindale Sayre. He was a 1990 graduate of Statesboro High School and was a longtime resident of Newnan, Georgia. At the time of his death, he had been living in St. Augustine, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents F.B. Martindale and Emma Martindale of Statesboro, Georgia, and his paternal grandmother Barbara Sayre of Akron, Ohio.
Survivors include two daughters, Emma Sayre of Warner Robins, Georgia and Lily Sayre of Newnan, Georgia; sister Jennifer Sayre Norrell of Savannah, Georgia; brother Brock Sayre of Houston, Texas; paternal grandfather Alvin Sayre of Akron, Ohio, and other relatives.
Tim loved Superman, fishing and sports, especially Georgia Southern Football. He loved the beach and especially his girls.
No services will be held.

Bruce and I send our heartfelt sympathy at Tim’s passing. He was our across the street neighbor and a special friend to our boys growing up. We had a great football weekend at our house a year ago and have some really nice memories of that time together. We are so sorry for the family’s loss.
