Verdell Cleveland Ferguson was born to Mr. Nathaniel Cleveland and Mrs. Lucille Gibbons Cleveland. She was the sister of Mrs. Nadine C. Lewis (Dr. Benjamin F. Lewis) and Mr. Nathaniel Cleveland, Jr. She is survived by one daughter (Ms. Dorie Ann Ferguson), two grand-daughters (Sylvia Taylor and Tante’ Taylor) who reside in Connecticut, two nieces (Ms. Bernadine Lucille Lewis and Ms. Lenay Cleveland Brooks).  A service will be held at a later date.
