Virginia Marie Bell Mills Annas

Virginia Marie Bell Mills Annas, age 81, died peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Surrency, Georgia (Appling County.) Mrs. Annas was raised in Ridgeland, South Carolina as a child and worked for many years in Savannah.

She married William B. Mills. They traveled together for fifteen years before divorcing. On November 10, 1973, she married the love of her life Sherrill G. Annas. They successfully blended two families for forty-seven years. They traveled in their RV with the Good Sam’s Group, which was something they both enjoyed very much.

Mrs. Annas was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill G. Annas; her youngest son, Robert A. Mills; granddaughter, Annelle Willard and sister, Frances Moore of South Carolina.

She is survived by her five children; Kathy (Mike) Thornton of Port Wentworth, Billy Mills of Savannah, Debbie (Doug) Lockard of Rincon, Ronald (Wanda) Mills of Ellabell, David (Yvette) Mills of Rincon; seven stepchildren: Tony (Analyn) Love of the Philippines, Kenneth Love, Robert (Kellie) Annas, Fred (April) Annas, Eddie (Sophia) Mills, Andy Annas & Brett Goodwin, Greg (Margit) Annas; seven grandchildren: Jaime Willard, Clifton Willard, Paul Stavely, Jeremy Mills, Zak Mills, Rebecca Meyer & Amanda Mussen plus 18 other grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Families First Funeral Care.

Marie, RIP, we miss you. You an Sherrill, were the guidance for the local RV club. You an your family has touched many. Take care of your cats in heaven with you. God bless your family an many friends. Sorry we cannot be at the viewing, we are having medical problems.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Marie was a very good friend to my mother Pat Davis before she got sick. Marie had a very special heart and would do anything for anybody.
