Wanda Gail Bishop Kicklighter Lackey, age 71 , of Savannah, died Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at Hospice Savannah surrounded by her loving family.
A native of Midville, she was the youngest of 12 children born to Thomas Watson Bishop and Claudie Mae Curl Bishop. Mrs. Lackey was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. "Once you were family you are always family."
She is preceeded in death by her father and mother, her first husband Paul Kicklighter, Jr. her second husband Joseph Ansel Lackey and her daughter, Tammy Jones.
She is survived by a daughter, Grace Horton, husband Jim, of Statesboro, a daughter, Terri Benson, husband Tim of Clayton, North Carolina, a son, Trace Kicklighter, of Savannah and a daughter in law, Tina Kicklighter of Savannah, her grandchildren, Will, AJ, Tiffany, Bekah, Jessica, Tori, Dess, Alena, Jordon, and Read, six great grandchildren, a sister, Joyce Bradley and a number of other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
