
Wanda Kay Roberts- Lewis, 60 passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025. She was born into the family of the late Mr. Abraham Roberts Sr. and Mrs. Theresa D. Roberts on November 14, 1964.
Wanda attended the school system of Chatham County, Hesse Elementary and Richard Arnold High School. She received her Associate Degree in Early Childcare Development from Savannah Technical College. While attending school, Wanda grew to love and have compassion for nurturing children in the teaching field. She was a dedicated teacher at Calvary Day School in Savannah, Georgia, and Bright Horizons Little One Learning Center.
Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter, the late Danielle Roberts. Wanda loves to cook, she briefly cooked in the private schools she taught. She joined New Salem Fellowship Church under Bishop Nathaniel Smalls Sr. with her siblings. Wanda rededicated her life back to Christ at The House That Love Built.
Wanda leaves her loving daughters, Dana Roberts of Nolanville, Texas, and Robena Lewis of Savannah, Georgia. Wanda leaves her adoring siblings: Raymond(Angie) Roberts Sr., Terrisita (Floyd) Jackson, Abraham Roberts Jr., Sandra Lane, Leonard Roberts Sr., and Tanika Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia. 1 grandson Gerald Hicks and 5 granddaughters (Sa’Nia Hicks, Ri’Kayla Vinson, Destinee Roberts, and Madison & Theresa Lucas), and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Homegoing Ceremony is on March 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at New Salem Community Fellowship, 115 W 40th St, Savannah, GA 31401.
