Wayne Wallace, age 83, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his daughter’s home.
Born in Montgomery, Alabama to Julian Jay Wallace and Dorris Edna Stough Wallace he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a longtime member of the Coastal Cathedral Church of God in Savannah. Wayne was a retired Business Agent for Machinists Local #23 in Savannah.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Julian Wallace & siblings; Wade Wallace, Dorothy Wallace Tomberlin and Earl Wallace, and one great-grandson, Landen Newman. He is survived by: 6 children, Rene Wallace Magulias (Mike), Michael Wallace (Donna). Lenora Wallace Paulson (Mike), Kim Wallace Hooker (Bill), Lisa Wallace (Tim Orr), and Alana Wallace Wolfe, 3 siblings, Judy Wallace Bennett (Frank), Bettie Wallace Sapp and John Phillip Wallace (Sandra); 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grands on the way.
Family viewing at Families First Funeral Care at 12 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 with Graveside Services to follow at 2 PM in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park-East.

Our sincere condolences. Wayne we will miss you and that wonderful smile.
Remembering Wayne when we were altogether at Chevis Oaks Baptist. Some very good memories. May God bless each one of you during this time.

Mr. Wallace was our neighbor and he will be missed. We watched out for each other and our neighbors in our block. Rest In Peace.
I knew Wayne from Coastal Cathedral. He was such a wonderful man- full of energy and always willing to pray for family members. I’m sure God ram to him as he arrived at the Hates of Heaven! My sympathies to his family at losing such a great man. Semper Fi Wayne.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of Brother Wallace. He was a great Unionist and a great leader. He will be missed by the folks he touched. My the Creator continue to bless this family.
Sorry to hear of the passing of Brother Wayne Wallace. He was a great trade unionist who will be sorely missed by all of the IAM and his community.

So sorry for the loss of Mr. Wallace. I have many fond memories of him and the whole Wallace family from our times in Ogeechee Farms. I will be praying for you all during this difficult time.
